Nocturne

Axion Seed view inside pentagon boundary

About

Nocturne explores how the character of the energy a being radiates colors its experience of the world.

A central mirrored cylinder inhabits its own pentagonal domain, radiating cobalt light into an intricate network of reflected paths. As visitors turn the cylinder, the paths of light continually rearrange themselves.

Visitors may wander among the tangled beams, play with their changing paths, or sit along the edge and quietly absorb the atmosphere of a world seen through another being’s eyes.

Nocturne is a companion to Axion Seed, inviting us to encounter a familiar geometry through the eyes of another being.
